Community Involvement

The credit union’s philanthropic committee, CCCU Cares, focuses on key values of Caring, Community, Compassion and Unity as the group supports the community they serve. In addition to community outreach and financial support, the committee finds ways to share kindness and encourage education with its Smart Start scholarship program.

  

Sponsorship and Donations

CCCU is committed to our local Clark County community. The employee-led committee organizes programs and opportunities for staff to volunteer with local nonprofits as well as organize events and fundraisers that assist the underprivileged or underserved. Smart Start Scholarship Program

CCCU’s scholarship program is part of an ongoing effort to help our members realize their financial goals and dreams through education.

The goal is to encourage ambition and reward merit in CCCU-member students and to help them go on to higher educational opportunities. Open to graduating high school seniors or those who are currently enrolled in a state-accredited college or university, the scholarships are awarded once per year.

Applications are typically accepted starting in the early Spring. Notifications are sent to members via the member newsletter and member email. For additional information, email: smartstart@ccculv.com
