Visa Fraud Protection
Clark County Credit Union is dedicated to protecting your account from potential fraud. To help protect your Visa debit and credit cards, a fraud detection service monitors the activity on your cards 24 hours a day. If they identify suspicious activity on your card, a representative will contact you to confirm the transactions. If they are unable to confirm your transactions with you, your card may be blocked to prevent possible fraudulent activity.
The CCCU fraud detection service will never ask for complete account information. They will ask to verify only a piece of the information that can ensure they are speaking to the actual cardholder and not a clever fraudster. You may be asked to verify a portion of a birth date, Social Security number, address or other piece of information only you should know.
If you have been contacted by a representative and do not wish to provide confirmation of your transactions with them, you may contact a CCCU Service Representative at (702) 228-2228 (in Las Vegas) or (800) 748-6885, Option 6 during regular business hours. To report your card lost or stolen, please call (866) 238-5312.
